  • JUNOFEST PERFORMANCE JUST ANNOUNCED   2010-04-01

    Downchild is confirmed to play a rare club performance at the Fat Cat as part of 2010 JunoFest celebrations in St. John's, NF on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 Pm (NST).

    The band will attend the 2010 Juno Awards in support of their nomination for "Blues Album Of The Year" for their 40th Anniversary release "I Need A Hat".

    The JunoFest performance is certain to sell out quickly and advance tickets are highly recommened. Tickets can be purchased at the Mile One Centre box office by calling 709-576-7657 or on-line at Admission

    DOWNCHILD NOMINATED FOR A 2010 JUNO AWARD   2010-03-03

    Downchild is nomintated for "Blues Album Of The Year" at the 2010 Juno Awards for their 40th Anniversary album "I Need A Hat" released on Linus/Universal.

    The Juno Awards will take place in St. John's, NF and the winners announced on Sunday, April 18, 2010 as part of the CTV telecast.

    The Downchild Blues Band will continue their 40th Anniversary Tour with a very special performance at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic celebrations.
    The show will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 Pm at the Ontario Pavilion (former Expo 86 site between BC Place and the Science Centre) as part of a free concert series showcasing the wealth of top talent from the province of Ontario.
