DOWNCHILD TO PERFORM AT GODERICH "OUT OF THE STORM" RELIEF BENEFIT ON OCTOBER 8, 2011 2011-10-03
The Downchild Blues Band will perform at 7:30 Pm as part of the "Out Of The Storm" Benefit Concert at Courthouse Square in downtown Goderich, ON, to help support the Goderich and area Disaster Relief Fund. Goderich was hit by an F3 tornado on August 21, 2011 that caused severe damage and destroyed much of the downtown core that now needs to be rebuilt.

The Star's rock critics, past and present, have picked the 32 best bands in Toronto's history. Now, all this month, they're asking you to vote for the best band in Toronto's history, March Madness-style and for us, that means DOWNCHILD! Each day, two bands go head to head. The winner moves on, the loser goes home.
Downchild is up on Saturday, May 21, 2011 and you can cast your vote for Downchild (ON MAY 21st ONLY) between 8 Am and 5 Pm, you e-mail besttoband@thestar.ca with Downchild Blues Band in the subject and any comments you may have. You are only allowed one vote per e-mail address.
If Downchild wins on May 21st, they move on to the next round against another one of the Top 32 bands and we’ll be hassling you again for your votes.
